Tasting note
Elegant and refined, with an expressive bouquet of white peach, ripe pear and citrus blossom, delicately layered with notes of vanilla, toasted almonds and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is beautifully textured, balancing creamy richness with vibrant acidity and a subtle mineral edge. Long and harmonious, with a polished finish that captures the sophistication of Sardinia’s coastal terroir.
Viticulture
Old Guyot-trained vines grow in the Lower Sulcis region of southwestern Sardinia, on medium-textured, sandy and clay-rich soils. The warm Mediterranean climate, mild winters and coastal influences encourage healthy grape development and expressive aromatics. Harvesting takes place from mid-August to mid-September.
Vinification
Vermentino and Chardonnay grapes are gently pressed, and the must ferments in barriques. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine matures in the same barrels for approximately six months, with regular bâtonnage to keep the fine lees in suspension, enhancing texture, complexity and integration of the oak.
Food Match
The wine is ideal with antipasti, red and white meats and grilled fish.
