Tasting note
Bright straw in appearance with delicate green highlights. Refined aromas of lemon zest, green apple and white flowers, with a subtle mineral lift. The palate is crisp and elegant, combining vibrant citrus fruit with fresh acidity and a distinctly savoury, mineral character. Clean, precise and beautifully balanced, with a long, refreshing finish and a subtle almond nuance. A contemporary expression of Gavi, defined by purity, freshness and understated elegance.
Viticulture
Cortese grapes are grown in the rolling hills of Gavi, where calcareous, mineral-rich soils and a cool, breezy climate favour slow, even ripening. Careful vineyard management and selective harvesting preserve freshness, delicate aromatics and natural acidity, defining the wine’s precise and elegant character.
Vinification
Soft pressing of carefully selected Cortese grapes is followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel. The wine remains on its fine lees to build texture and aromatic complexity, with regular bâtonnage. No oak is used, preserving the wine’s purity, freshness and elegant mineral character.
Food Match
As an inviting aperitif, it whets the appetite in its pairings with hors-d'oeuvres and fish dishes. It is perfect in summer, but there are no seasonal limitations to the serving of this delightful wine.
