Legendary winemaker Marty Edwards left the family business, The Lane Vineyard, when he was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2012. Determined not to be defined by this condition, Marty underwent a cutting-edge Deep Brain Stimulation operation in 2018. Despite the challenges he faces, Marty couldn't shake off his love of wine, so he created a new winery, 'Silver Lining', and declared the first vintage in 2020. Part of the profits from sales of these wines will be donated to Parkinson’s Disease research in Australia, making the story and purpose behind these wines every bit as captivating as their quality.
