Colterenzio

The hamlet of Schreckbichl (Colterenzio in Italian) is situated amid cool, vine-covered rolling hills to the south of Bolzano. It forms part of South Tyrol's largest self-contained winegrowing area called Uberetsch, or 'beyond the Adige.' Formed in the '60s by a group of 28 winegrowers and estate owners, the co-operative has grown considerably over the years, and now has members supplying grapes from over 320 hectares of vineyards scattered throughout some of South Tyrol's finest sites.
