Arneis

A native of Piedmont, Arneis is known for its aromatic, medium-bodied white wines with floral and stone fruit notes. Once nearly extinct, it was revived in the 20th century and now thrives in Roero, where it produces fresh, expressive wines with flavors of pear, peach, and white flowers. Naturally low in acidity, it often has a soft, rounded texture, sometimes showing almond or herbal nuances. Traditionally grown alongside Nebbiolo as a blending grape, it is now primarily vinified as a varietal white. Arneis offers a compelling alternative for those who enjoy elegant, fruit-driven whites with subtle complexity.
