Tasting note
Bright straw yellow in colour. The nose is vibrant and expressive, with ripe peach, pear and yellow-fleshed fruits, lifted by notes of acacia blossom and subtle tropical hints. On the palate it is fresh and supple, with a clean mineral drive reflecting the chalky-sandy soils of Roero. Balanced and persistent, it finishes crisp and elegant. Best served at 12°C.
Viticulture
The vineyards are located in Monteu Roero at 280-320 m above sea level, with south to south-west exposure. The calcareous-sandy soils provide excellent drainage and contribute to finesse and aromatic clarity. The site’s warm days and cool nights support balanced ripening and vibrant acidity.
Vinification
80% of the grapes undergo cold maceration at 6°C for 8-10 hours to enhance aromatic intensity. The wine is then matured in stainless steel tanks “sur lie” with regular bâtonnage during the first 5 months, adding texture, complexity and depth while preserving freshness and varietal purity.
