Tasting note
Blush pouts with juicy, wild strawberry aromas, followed by a notably rounded, mineral palate evoking rosehip tea, strawberries and cream, and Cornish orchard fruits such as crab apple and red apple.
Viticulture
Sourced from wineries that offer low density planted/smaller yield to produce more characterful Airen wines from the limestone-rich-soil region of La Mancha, Spain. Light-bodied wines remain unoaked to allow the natural flavours of the grape shine through. Crisp acidity, characterised by citrus flavours exhibiting floral aromas and subtle herbal undertones.
Food Match
Mediterranean inspired hummus, mezzes and tzatziki. Smoked salmon, lobster, eggs benedict and when served pink, both lamb and duck. Red-fruit based desserts, compotes, coulis, fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate.
