Tasting note
A golden, herbal, aromatic wine made from Sardinia's best-known white grape, offering a pleasant mouthful of herbs and almonds.
Viticulture
From vineyards located in 5 municipalities of the lower Sulcis district, with counter-espalier training, on different types of soils, with medium mixture, tending to sandy or clayey. The climate is Mediterranean with hot and dry summers and mild winters.
Vinification
Grape varieties: 70% Vermentino (harvested in September), 30% Nuragus (harvested in October). Fermentation takes place at 16-20 C using selected yeast, followed by early bottling to preserve the organoleptic nuances.
Food Match
An ideal match with seafood dishes, antipasti or as an aperitif. Try it with one of the following; fried fish with Moroccan-style herb sauce, poached salmon fillets with dill crème fraiche or tatsoi and warm scallop salad with spicy pecan praline.
