Tasting note
Dark and richly aromatic, with heady flavours of ripe red berries, violet and spice.
Viticulture
The vineyards are planted on terraces with rows of vines planted up and down the slope on shist soil. The aspect is southeast facing and the age of the vines is 20+ years.
Vinification
The grapes, chosen from selected plots, are taken to the winery where they are rigorously inspected and sorted. The grapes were then destemmed, crushed and transferred into stainless steel tanks for fermentation. Alcoholic fermentation takes place for 5 to 7 days and the wine is matured 95% in stainless steel vats and 5% in oak barrels.
