Unique Selling Point
A unique expression of old Swarltand vines marrying the tension and austertiy of Chenin Blanc with aromatics and femininity of Muscat
Vinification
From the hillside Devon Crest vineyard and old Swartland sites, this is hand-harvested Chenin Blanc with a dash of Hanepoot. Fruit was cooled to 5°C, whole-bunch pressed and naturally fermented in concrete eggs and oak barrels. Lees contact for six months adds mid-palate texture and richness.
Food Match
Enjoy with sushi or seared tuna. Also pairs well with heartier meats such as pichana steak and pork belly.
