Tasting note
Rich, creamy barrel fermented Chardonnay with great depth and concentration, the nose is open and well formed. Tropical fruit and balanced acidity give the wine character and complexity.
Vinification
In the early 1800s the grandfather Giuseppe Rivetti, whose nickname was Pin, emigrated to Argentina from Neive. Once he returned in Piedmont he founded the family winery and brought his children up in Castagnole Lanze to be dedicated and expert winegrowers.
Food Match
Warm jasmine rice salad with shrimp and Thai herbs, prawn tandoori, poached salmon with tarragon sauce and fingerling potatoes or grilled pork ribs with tamarind recado.
