This classic, dry Pfalz Riesling comes from the Laumersheimer Kapellenberg site, whose sand and gravel soils respond quickly to summer sunshine, resulting in a wine with citrus, herb and green apple notes, which is complete and ready to enjoy at an early age.
Viticulture
The Laumersheimer Kapellenberg vineyard is shaped like an elongated dune. The soil consists primarily of sand and gravelly rock, deposited here by the Rhine over millennia. The light, quickly warming soil consistently yields wines that are ready to drink early, with pronounced primary fruit.
