Tasting note
Garnet red in colour, with spicy and menthol aromas, excellent balance between fresh black fruit and ripe red fruit. In the mouth it is an unctuous and elegant Cabernet, with firm tannins that reinforce its structure.
Viticulture
The Uco Valley is one of the most prestigious valleys in Argentina, located in the district of Eugenio Bustos, named after La Celia's founder, about 110 km south of the city of Mendoza and at the foot of the imposing Andes Mountains.
Vinification
A classic fermentation, with a 15-day maceration in small concrete vessels. Its fermentation is 100% malolactic and the wine obtained is 100% drop. For the final cut, different lots with floral, fresh and ripe profiles are selected. Forty percent of the wine is aged in concrete vats on its own fine lees and the other 60% is aged in French oak for 9 months.
