Tasting note
A lively and intense red made from Piedmont's 'second' grape (after Nebbiolo), this is dry yet refined, full of cherries and blueberries plus an attractively savoury hint of beef, with a tart, lightly bitter finish.
Vinification
Barbera is aged for at least one year in oak or chestnut casks. Chiara Boschis, the winemaker, is committed to rigorous grape selection and a strict overview of technicians in charge of the various phases of vinification and maturation.
