Tasting note
Light orange coppery-pink colour. Intense rounded nose of fresh muscat grapes, orange peel and rose bud. The palate is invigorating, with peach aromas, a light grip of citrus peel bitterness, peppery tannins and a fresh finish.
Vinification
Grenache gris fermented 3 ways. One with 50% whole bunch including stems. One batch fully Carbonic maceration. The third destemmed and conventionally fermented. Made as an orange wine with skin contact, the wine is typically fermented on the skins for around two weeks, adding texture, tannin grip, and savoury complexity. Aged in barrel 6 months.
Food Match
A characterful aperitif wine that will be a great accompaniment to the cheeseboard, to dried fruit desserts and nuts.
