Tasting note
Straw-yellow with vibrant green highlights. Aromas burst forth, first with freshness, caramel, and cocoa indicating oak influence. Then, ripe quince and apple compote notes emerge. Well-balanced, structured, and full-bodied. Round, powerful, and harmonious acidity from bâtonnage. Spicy and lingering on the palate.
Viticulture
Selection of traditional plots with low vigour, working the vines which produced more balanced plants more exposed to sunshine to have more aromatic concentration and thicker skins.
