Tasting note
With a deep, morello cherry red colour, this Bierzo Mencía has distinctive black pepper, blackberry, purple plum and woodsmoke aromas. On the palate, it is beautifully supple, succulent and harmonious, with excellent fruit intensity and complex, spiced, smoky and mineral notes. The tannins are silky-smooth, and the fresh finish invites another sip.

Viticulture
Cuatro Pasos Black, 100% Mencía, is born from grapes selected from balanced low-yielding strains, most over 80 years old, from vineyards located in hillside areas of the Bierzo region.
Vinification
Fermentation on stainless steel tanks with temperature control. 8 months aging on French and American oak barrel.
