Tasting note
Bright and refreshing, with aromas of white peach, pear and citrus blossom, complemented by hints of green apple and almond. The palate is crisp and beautifully balanced, offering juicy orchard fruit, vibrant acidity and a subtle mineral note, finishing long, clean and elegantly savoury.
Viticulture
Turbiana grapes are grown in the clay-rich vineyards south of Lake Garda, where the lake’s moderating influence, warm sunny days and cool breezes encourage slow, even ripening. Careful vineyard management and low yields produce fruit with vibrant acidity, delicate aromatics and a distinctive mineral character.
Vinification
The grapes are gently pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve their delicate aromas and freshness. The wine is aged on its fine lees for several months, enhancing texture and complexity while maintaining the purity, vibrant fruit and distinctive mineral character of Lugana.
Food Match
It goes well with light and delicate fish dishes.
