Tasting note
This gorgeous Arneis has intense notes of peach, acacia blossom and tropical fruit. In the mouth, it is fresh yet soft, with voluminous texture, hints of honey, yeast, cream and a salty mineral suggestion on the finish, characteristic of grapes grown on Roero's sandy soil.
Viticulture
Vines are planted in Monteu Roero at an altitude of 280-320 m above sea level. The exposure is south, south - west, and the soil is calcareous - sandy Age of the vineyard is 18 years.
Vinification
Grown without herbicides and hand-harvested, 80% of the fruit was cold-macerated at 6°C for 8-10 hours before fermentation started, to help express the gorgeous fruit character of the Arneis variety. After fermentation completed, the wine was matured in stainless steel tank on the yeast lees, with battonage for the first five months.
