Tasting note
Fresh, elegant and expressive, with aromas of pear, green apple, white peach and delicate citrus blossom. The palate is crisp and lively, revealing juicy orchard fruit, subtle herbal nuances and a refreshing mineral edge. Bright acidity and a clean, delicate finish make this a modern, effortlessly versatile white wine.
Viticulture
Favorita vines grow in the Roero hills at 250-280 metres above sea level, on calcareous, medium-textured soils with varied exposures. Trained using the Guyot system, the vines produce grapes that are hand-harvested in September to preserve freshness and aromatic expression.
Vinification
Grapes undergo 8–10 hours of cryomaceration to enhance aromatic complexity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at 15°C, with no malolactic fermentation. The wine matures on its lees in stainless steel for 3-4 months, preserving freshness, delicate fruit and a crisp, elegant profile.
Food Match
Great with a light chicken salad or shellfish.
