Tasting note
Intense ruby in colour; ripe fruit aromas with notes of cassis, plum and herbs; medium to full bodied with juicy fruit flavours, supple tannins, and a lingering finish.
Vinification
"Superiore" means that riper grapes are harvested later in autumn for more concentrated flavours and a higher natural alcohol level. The grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks to keep the bright aromas . The wine is then aged for a full year in large neutral oak casks to soften the tannins while keeping the juicy red fruit character.
