Tasting note
A round and full-bodied wine with a ripe fruit character. Rich flavours of dark fruit give way to hints of pepper and gentle, spicy oak.
Vineyard
France is one of the most important wine growing nations in the world. The heart of its viticultural heritage is the concept of “Terroir”. The term describes how a grape variety expresses itself in terms of flavour, aromas and colour, when the vines are grown in ideal conditions (wellsuited soils, winds, temperatures…). The vintner’s winemaking skills also play an important role. France offers a fascinating diversity of Terroirs like no other country.

Vinification
The winemaking combines modern and traditional methods. Some grapes undergo hot maceration for fruity aromas, others ferment in concrete tanks with pumping to extract color and tannins. After blending, the wine is aged on fine lees for 4 months, resulting in a youthful, easy-drinking style.
