Francesco Montresor gave up his legal career in order to dedicate himself, alongside his brother, Michele, to the family estate that was founded in 1890. The farm owns 23 hectares of vineyards near Peschiera del Garda. We believe that Ottella’s excellent range shows the versatility of Lugana. From the benchmark, textbook entry-level Lugana, through the single site, mineral rich “Le Creete” and the skin contact, amphorae made “Back to Silence” finishing with the majestic, powerful “Molceo” Riserva which utilises later-picked grapes to give a fuller, rounder flavour profile.
