Tasting note

With masses of character, Lot 4 is the quintessential Leyda Valley Sauvignon Blanc. It expresses concentrated yet complex notes of tomato leaves, mangetout peas and grapefruit, with a suggestion of crushed pumice and linseed oil.  On the palate, it has crystalline definition, nervy vibrancy and creamy texture, cut through with mouthwatering acidity.  It is admirably frank - bone dry, with raw personality and a vivid sense of place.
