Tasting note
Gorgeously expressive perfume of juicy cherries, tart cranberries and savoury walnut notes. With a soft, succulent and elegant texture, on the palate it reveals wildflower and herbal complexity. It is ripe, complete and very easy to like, and yet has nuanced subtlety - an outstanding wine.
Vinification
100% Pinot Noir, grown on double Guyot pruned vines on granitic soil. Fruit hand-harvested and hand-selected, pre-fermentation maceration 7 days, fermentation 10 days with punching down and pump overs twice daily. Matured for 13 months in 90% French oak barrels (1st / 2nd fill) of 228, 300 and 400 litre capacity.
