Tasting note
Classically Trimbach dry Riesling, which is gloriously easy-going and friendly in nature. It has delicious and impressively complex scents of green apple, tropical fruit, beeswax, honey and sun-warmed pine forest. It can be enjoyed straight away, and it will gain richness and aged nuance if cellared.
Vinification
The Reserve quality is made from parcel selections of mostly old vines from Ribeauvillé and around and produces more complex wines destined for a longer laying down.
Food Match
This Riesling Reserve 2009 matches seafood, grilled or sauced fish, white meats, exotic cuisines, sushi, etc... but also the classic Choucroute Royale from Alsace.
