Tasting note
The aromatic finesse and crispness of this wine immediately evoke the purity of the grape variety. Fruitiness, perfectly balanced by a beautiful freshness. Delicate notes of white flowers, elderflower and citrus underscore its elegance. It is a dry, lively, and expressive Muscat.
Viticulture
Our vines, which are over 40 years old, are located in Ribeauvillé, in the Gassenbrunn and Forst areas and thrive on gentle south-east facing slopes. The soils are shallow, composed of Muschelkal sandstone limestone anf Keuper marl-limesstone. Our partner winegrowers also cultivate vines of a similar age on a variety of terroirs.
Vinification
Grapes selected at optimum ripeness, crushed and gently pressed in a pneumatic press. Vinified in a dry style, 100 % stainless steel tank, no malolactic fermentation or long aging on lees to preserve the freshness, liveliness and fruity aromas of the Muscat. Bottled in the Sping following the harvest.
