Tasting note
Joshua Grenache Mataro Shiraz is generous, savoury and built for the table. Bright red berries, dark cherry, spice and hints of charcuterie rise from the glass, while the palate delivers juicy layers of fruit wrapped around earthy, gamey complexity. As always, there’s no oak influence here – just pure, vibrant Barossa fruit released young to celebrate freshness, drinkability and the simple pleasure of sharing good wine, good food and good company
Viticulture
The blend is led by Grenache (56%), supported by Mataro (37%) and a splash of Shiraz (7%), sourced from vineyards across Stone Well, Seppeltsfield, Koonunga, Williamstown and Nuriootpa.
Vinification
Matured entirely in stainless to encapsulate the inherent fruit detail and brightness these varieties can exhibit without the influence of oak.
