Viticulture
Frappato is grown in the sun-drenched vineyards of western Sicily, where sandy soils, warm Mediterranean days and cooling sea breezes promote slow, balanced ripening. Careful vineyard management preserves the grape’s natural freshness and aromatic intensity, producing fruit with elegant floral notes, vibrant acidity and distinctive Sicilian character.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimum ripeness and gently destemmed before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. A carefully managed skin maceration extracts colour, aroma and delicate tannins, followed by ageing in stainless steel to preserve the purity, freshness and elegant fruit character of Frappato.
