Tasting note
A blend of the three Champagne varieties, slightly heavier on the Chardonnay, this is a crisp, citrussy sparkling wine with subtle notes of brioche and white flowers; in the mouth it is fruity, honeyed and moreish.
Unique Selling Point
Any wine can be light, good wine is intense, only fine wine is both. This is light and elegant, with rich and creamy fruit.
Vinification
Grapes hail from over 35 Crus. The wine uses 95% first pressings, includes 30% reserve wines for consistency, and ages in chalk cellars for 3 to 4 years
Food Match
There is no specific drinking occasion for the Brut Reserve. Its elegance and lightness gives it a flexibility to be the champagne for the moment but it is always excellent as an aperitif.
