Tasting note
This playful Summerhouse Blush is full of ripe citrus and tropical fruit aromas. Along with hints of strawberries, juicy rock melon, lychee, vibrant passionfruit and lemongrass. A mouth watering finish with seaside influences. A beautifully refreshing glass of summer.
Unique Selling Point
As we're closer to the coast than most, our vineyards benefit from cool ocean breezes whilst the grapes soak up our regions long sunshine hours, giving our wines freshness as well as unique bright tropical flavours.
Viticulture
2025 was one where patience was rewarded. Spring's warm weather created ideal growing conditions and abundant crop loads, which we carefully reduced to enhance fruit quality. January's cool temperatures extended the ripening period, enhancing palate weight and aromatics. Harvest started in mid-March, working block by block as each reached optimal conditions.
Vinification
Overlooking the ocean in dry and windswept Blind River, we grow our grapes in harsh conditions. Our grapes enjoy the region’s long sunshine hours, while the oceanbreeze keeps things cooler and drier. Once picked, they are gently pressed and cool fermented to retain the vibrant fruit characters.
