Tasting note
Seriously rich aromas of tobacco and oriental spices, mostly cardamom, cloves, and a touch of cinnamon. Ripe red and black berries come through on the palate, balanced with wonderful freshness and incredibly silky tannins. A truly fine wine.
Vinification
After rigorous fruit selection, the grapes are gently crushed and briefly cold soaked in stainless steel tanks. 28-day total maceration in the tank to preserve the character of Cabernet Franc. Aged for 17 months in new and used French oak barrels.
Food Match
We challenge you to find a better wine for steak than this. Also great with North African-style slow-cooked aubergine dishes.
