Tasting note

Deep ruby in colour, it has a complex nose which encompasses both juicy fruitiness and savoury, herbal complexity. The texture is rich and succulent, cut across by freshness and notes of plump black cherries, ripe blackberries and zingy blackcurrants abound. The variety's emblematic green pepper and tobacco leaf edge are present but understated, like the signature in the corner of a painting.
