Tasting note
Intense ruby-red colour, balsamic nose, notes of morello cherry and red berries closing with an intense note of undergrowth. Fresh and lively on the palate, fine-grained tannins that make it a very drinkable wine with an intense savour and a particularly salty finish.
Vinification
To mellow the tannins while retaining lovely vibrancy of fruit, this is matured in inert stainless steel cuve for six months before bottling.
Food Match
Light, tomato-based dishes, a Caprese salad, Bruschetta with fresh tomatoes. Also a treat with a seafood pasta.
