Tasting note
Planeta is a Sicilian powerhouse and this, from their Menfi vineyards, is spicy, perfumed with crushed strawberry and pleasingly finishes with a light scattering of chocolate.

91/100 - A textured, precise and flavorful red with aromas of cherries, fresh flowers and dried herbs. Medium-bodied with fine tannins. Vivid with succulent forest berry character and a mouthwatering finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink now.
Vinification
The 3 varietals were all harvested and vinified seperately in order to facilitate maximum complexity, the grapes were destemmed and crushed before maceration on skins for 10-14 days, then ageing partly in steel vessels and partly in 2 year old barrels for 3 months.
