Tasting note
Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico Dorilli embodies the essence of this noble wine. Carefully chosen vines near the Dorilli estate, named after the brave Aeneas' landing place, yield this refined Nero d’Avola and Frappato blend. Elegantly matured in wood, it exudes black cherry, cardamom, vanilla and cinnamon scents. Soft, mature tannins seamlessly meld with sweet fruit for a limited, historical Italian gem.
Viticulture
Vine are planted at an altitude of 90/67 m above sea level with the vertical trellis, cordon sour pruning system. The density of planting is 4500 vines per hectares.
Vinification
Pressing followed by 12 days in contact with the skins, malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and then ageing in 500 lt Tonneau for 12 months.
