Tasting note
Generous, intense Sicilian white, packed with apples and peaches, with a refreshing squirt of citrus acidity on the finish.
Vinification
From the Ulmo vineyard, at 250m elevation at Menfi, western Sicily, this is 100% Chardonnay, grown organically, with a holistic approach to promote soil microfauna and a balanced ecosystem, for natural protection of the vines. The vines set apart to produce this wine are the oldest, planted by Planeta in 1985, and only their most pristine fruit is used.
