Tasting note
Colour: Medium purple. Bouquet: The nose shows aromatic notes of chocolate and red berries. Palate: Mouth filling fruit sweetness is present on the palate. Vibrant flavours of red berries, hints of chocolate subtle oak influence.
Vinification
Sunraysia regions have a climate well suited for growing vines, with warm summer days and plenty of sunshine allows ripe fruit flavours and sugars to develop. In 2021 we had warm days, cool nights and little or no rain. This led to excellent ripening conditions resulting in bright ripe fruit.
Food Match
Grilled or roast beef. Strong hard cheeses especially cheddar.
