Tasting note

Delectable aromas of sumptuous red fruit, dark chocolate, gingerbread and liquorice, and while this is a ripe and rich-textured wine, it gives the impression of beautiful balance and elegance. Located on the fabled ‘Golden Mile’, where the very finest estates are found, the vineyards are among the region's highest, at 850m elevation.

In the press

93/100 - A concentrated, dense Ribera del Duero, but there is a lot to like if you enjoy plushness, with its lush blackberry fruit and dark chocolate. Fine-grained and full-bodied on the palate, but fresh and still pretty tense, with chalky tannins. Drink from 2025.

93/100 - Like the 2023 newly released, the 2022 blends estate Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. The grapes go through a triple selection to find the best quality, and the time spent shows in the refinement of the wine. From a hot year, it retains freshness due to exemplary management of the vines and canopy, with harvest happening earlier than normal. A depth of red fruit travels along a medium to full-bodied palate of supple, integrated tannin and oak spice. This is a beautiful wine that displays the ripeness of the year. Age 10-15 years.
