Quintessential Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, juicy with raspberry, blackberry and ripe cherry and perfumed with star anise, five spice and black tea.
Viticulture
Low yields, small berries and lots of concentration, high overall fruit quality. The fruit for this wine comes from the best sites across Napa Valley - from Atlas Peak to Coombsville, from Calistoga to the Rutherford Bench, it is a quintessential Napa Cabernet but made in the signature Orin Swift style.
Vinification
The wine was aged for 10 months in seasoned French Oak of which 35% was new oak.
