Tasting note
Sauvignon Blanc plus a splash of Sémillon from California, perfumed with cedar, dried herbs and fresh straw, then delivering a juicy mouthful of ripe peach and passion fruit and finishing on a tangy shot of grapefruit and lemon zest.
Viticulture
This is the first Sauvignon Blanc dominant wine by Orin Swift outside of the Napa Valley & is produced from fruit sourced from the Russian River Valley. The cooler climate brings out a different expression of the varietal – slightly more nervy and less ripe with lots of acidity and texture.
Food Match
Ideal with pan-fried John Dory with fennel and capers, or a fresh Scallop ceviche
