Tasting note
Blessed with fresh fruit and light tannin this is a pure expression of Alpasión's terroir with only 25% of the wine aged. Bright red fruit, a hint of spice and fresh potted soil backed by a lively acidity and gentle tannins. Extremely versatile in the glass and even tastier with slight chill.
Viticulture
The vineyard is located 1,200m above sea level and has alluvial, sany loam soil. Hand harvested in March.
Vinification
Whole berry fermentation in small concrete vats with indigenous yeast. A small proportion receives 10 months ageing in French oak. Non-filtered and bottled with natural cold stabilisation.
