Tasting note
Very beautiful red color with purplish reflections. The nose exudes aromas of morello cherries with slightly woody notes. The palate is balanced with notes of red fruits and liquorice. The finish is ample and fruity.
Viticulture
Morey-Saint-Denis is located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits on the slopes of a combe (valley). The vineyard covers an area of approximately 135 hectares between 220 and 270 meters above sea level.
Vinification
Manual harvest on a plot of 15 ares 70. Vinification in full vats. Long vatting for 28 days, followed by cold pre-fermentation maceration. Aged in French oak barrels.
