Tasting note
The blend of Rolle, Cinsault and Grenache give the wine great depth and dimension. The wine showcases notes of spice, roasted fruit, butter and brioche. Further notes of fresh fruit and floral notes are also present.
Viticulture
Domaine Mirabeau lies in the “Crystalline” soil area of the Côtes de Provence Appellation, with micro-schist, sand and clay over Permian red sandstone. Set within the Plaines des Maures Nature Reserve, the secluded 20-hectare estate includes 14 hectares of vines among umbrella pines, cork oaks and chestnut groves.
Vinification
A small-production Côtes de Provence rosé from Grenache, Rolle and Cinsault. Night harvested and gently pressed without oxidation, then cool-fermented. A portion is barrel-fermented with regular bâtonnage for 6 months before blending with stainless-steel matured wine.
