Tasting note
This glorious wine is reminiscent of the fresher whites from southern Burgundy. It has attractive white peach and honeysuckle scents, and juicy tropical fruit notes. It is fresh and delicate, yet with a wonderfully rounded, complete texture. Excellent Chardonnay. Yum!
Viticulture
Guyot.
Vinification
Entirely Chardonnay, grown on layered sandstone and loam in the hilly Collio region: from the villages of San Floriano, Oslavia, and Cormòns. Picked by hand, cold-macerated, pressed, then temperature-control fermentation in stainless steel. Lees-aged for six months prior to bottling.
