Tasting note
A fruity, modern-styled Pinotage with enticing aromas of cherries, plums, nutmeg and vanilla, with mocha, chocolate and roasted coffee bean undertones.
Unique Selling Point
A modern twist on a South African Classic. Lots of ripe fruits and trademark smoky character fill each mouthful of this wine.
Vinification
The grapes from low-yielding, untrellised bush vines ("bosstok") are fermented with frequent pump-overs in stainless steel tanks, pressed early before finishing fermentation in tanks, and partially matured in oak barrels to preserve a fresh, fruit-forward style.
Food Match
It makes it an ideal pairing for roasted meats, game, or a rich beef stew.
