Tasting note
Delicately aromatic and semi-sparkling, with fragrant notes of orange blossom, elderflower, white peach and ripe apricot. The palate balances juicy stone fruit with vibrant citrus and a gentle sweetness, finishing crisp, refreshing and elegantly floral.
Viticulture
The Moscato Bianco grapes are grown in the hillside vineyards of Piedmont, where limestone-rich soils, sunny days and cool nights encourage slow, even ripening. Careful vineyard management preserves freshness and aromatic intensity, producing fruit with vibrant floral character, natural acidity and exceptional purity.
Vinification
Giorgio Rivetti’s single-vineyard Moscato d’Asti Biancospino has brought this delicate sparkler back to Italian fine dining. From a south-facing vineyard of 35-year-old vines, the grapes are hand-tended, carefully selected and cold fermented under pressure to create its naturally light sparkle.
Food Match
Mostly enjoyed as a glass on its own but also well suited to dishes such as blue cheese dip with pecans or cheese blintzes with strawberry-rhubarb compote.
