Tasting note
Pure, vibrant and effortlessly refined. Aromas of wild cherry, raspberry and pomegranate rise from the glass, layered with fresh rose petals, blood orange, crushed stone and a subtle touch of sweet spice. The palate is precise and beautifully textured, combining Nebbiolo's signature energy with remarkable finesse. Bright red fruits flow seamlessly into notes of liquorice, dried herbs and mineral undertones, while finely etched tannins provide structure without overshadowing the wine's elegance. Fresh acidity carries the flavours through a long, graceful finish marked by floral perfume and savoury complexity.
Viticulture
Estate-grown Nebbiolo from the Bordini vineyard in Neive, rooted in calcareous marl soils. South-facing slopes, low yields, careful canopy management and hand harvesting promote slow, even ripening, preserving freshness, aromatic purity and the distinctive character of the site.
Vinification
Fermented in temperature-controlled vats with extended skin contact to extract aroma, colour and fine tannins. Aged for approximately 20 months in French oak, followed by bottle maturation, preserving Nebbiolo's purity, precision and elegant vineyard expression.
