Soft and elegant with ripe damson fruit character, subtle tannin and a long elegant finish.
Viticulture
The vineyards are located close to the historic medievel city of Carcassonne on gently sloping, South West facing hills. Laid to vine there are just over 400 hectares all under the careful watch of LGI one of France's largest and most reliable coopertaives.
Food Match
This very accessible juicy Merlot would be ideal with lamb, Turkey or Country ham and would compliment herbed or cream sauces. Lemon zest and caper dressings would also work well.
