Tasting note
This dry yet generous white from sunny Languedoc-Roussillon fills the nostrils with stone fruit and flowers and the mouth with melon and peach.
Viticulture
Our La Cadence Blanc de Blanc is produced at LGI, one of the largest and most consistent Cooperatives in Southern France. Based in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. A delicious blend of Vermentino, Grenache Blanc, Ugni Blanc & Colombard. This wine is blended each year with the involvement of our French buyer to ensure the signature flavour profile.
Vinification
The grapes are picked at night to retain their freshness, destemmed and allowed a period of grape skin contact maceration. Large pneumatic presses are then used to crush the grapes later to be aged in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling.
Food Match
Ideal as an aperitif but also makes an excellent seafood match. Try with haddock fish cakes or fried whitebait.
